N. Korea Transships Missiles Via Russia

Instead of sending unconventional weapons by sea as in the past, North Korea now is shipping missiles and missile components on planes that fly via Russia, landing at Russian airports for refueling and possible transshipment to Mideast clients.

The missiles are sent in kits from which recipients, with North Korean technical expertise, put together the final versions, according to a new report by the Center for Nonproliferation Studies.

	North Korea raises tension with a missile launch Anna Chan: North Korea has test-launched several short-range missiles today in what analysts say is a show of anger towards Washington and South Korea. Here's more. The launch comes one day after the North expelled South Korean officials from a joint industrial complex. 	Iranian Shahab 3B Missile test fire The Iranian Shahab-3 [alternatively designated Zelzal (Earthquake)] missile is said to be a derivative of the 1,000-1,300 kilometer range North Korean Nodong-1. The Nodong missile was developed by North Korea with Iranian financial assistance. Around one year ago Iran claimed for the first time to have developed and produced a laser gyroscope INS system coupled with GPS as backup. With that guidance system, the Shahab-3B could archive an accuracy of around 30-50m CEP or even less.
