FBI Confidential -- China's Cyber Terrorism?
According to a leaked secret FBI document, Chinese counterfeiters have sold close to 75 million dollars of fake Cisco Systems routers to the U.S. military.
This revelation raises troubling questions about both the integrity of U.S. defenses in cyberspace and the possible motives of a foreign government with a long rap sheet for military espionage and cyber hacking.
At least some of China's fake routers may be specially designed to provide Chinese hackers with undetectable "back doors" into the highest echelons of classified information throughout the defense department bureaucracy.

Communist China Created Threat of Terrorism for propaganda
A deadly mortar attack in northwestern China has stirred up fear of attacks during the Olympic Games in Beijing. However, whether the Games are really in danger is a highly disputed matter.
According to Chinese authorities, the attack in the Muslim region of Xinjiang, which killed 16 police officers on Monday, Aug. 4, was carried out by terrorists. This is the second attack of this kind in Xinjiang in the past two weeks. Now the question is: How concerned should the world be of an attack during the Olympics.
Terrorism is the biggest threat during the Games, Rohan Gunaratna, one of Singapore's most prominent terrorism experts, told the Chinese daily Straits Times.

KASHI aug.5--An official of Kashi Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region said on Tuesday the raid on Kashi border police a day earlier was a terrorist attack.
The attack had been planned in advance, Shi Dagang, Communist Party secretary of Kashi, told a press conference held in Kashi on Tuesday afternoon.
The two suspects, caught at the scene, had confessed their crime, Liu Yaohua, head of the public security department of Xinjiang, said at a press conference held in Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang.
The two, both locals of Kashi, were identified as Abdurahman Azat, a 33-year-old vegetable peddler, and Kurbanjan Hemit, a 28-year-old taxi driver, Shi said in Kashi.

Terrorist attack kill 16 armed police in China Muslim Region
URUMQI, Aug. 4 -- Terrorist plot was suspected in the violent attack targeting border police in China's westernmost city of Kashi, which left at least 16 policemen killed and 16 others injured Monday.
The attack occurred in the front of the Yiquan Hotel, which is nearly 200 meters away from the Kashi border armed police division, Xinhua correspondent reported from Kashi.
The reporter said the police investigation found that two attackers drove a tip lorry to hit a team of policemen who were jogging to pass the hotel in a regular morning exercise at about 8:00 a.m.
The suspects then got off the lorry to throw explosive and hack the policemen with knives, after the vehicle veered to knock on a roadside wire pole, said the Kashi police.

China - India improve cooperation
Yunnan, 21 Dec (ANI): China and India, who fought a brief border war in 1962, have started a week-long anti-terrorism military drill to improve trust and cooperation as the two rising powers seek to put aside decades of frosty relations. The exercise, called "Hand-in-Hand, 2007", is being held in China's south-western province of Yunnan and involves 100 troops from each country.
