North Korea has warned that it will take “strong countermeasures” against Japan if it goes ahead with sanctions against the country.
Tokyo said yesterday that it was banning all North Korean imports and barring the country’s ships from Japanese ports. The measures are in addition to the raft of sanctions currently being discussed by the UN Security Council.
