But is anti-American sentiment as rampant as it seems? In their new edited volume, “Anti-Americanisms in World Politics” (Cornell University Press), international relations scholars Peter Katzenstein and Robert Keohane bring together a distinguished group of social scientists to consider how much anti-Americanism there is, and whether, in fact, anti-Americanism is any one thing at all.
The plural “anti-Americanisms” in the book’s title reveals its core insight: Anti-Americanism is not a single, unitary phenomenon. Instead, Katzenstein and Keohane suggest there are four distinct strains.

Our Evil Irrational Illiberal World
This is my broad, general analysis about world culture, including the recent past and our future. I give reasons why both to feel down and up.
I argue that today's philosophy creates a Dark Age. I claim that our current culture is fundamentally characterized by five absurd, depraved, fatuous beliefs: anti-Westernism, anti-Americanism, antimale-ism, antiwhite-ism, and anti-Semitism. And this sad reality is remarkable because these five are far and away the best in their class. But I also note that reasonism and liberalism are currently ascending.

DR TV-host and what he was thinking on September 11th 2001
On 9/11 2007 the host of the DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) primetime TV-show "Aftenshowet", Jens Blauenfeldt, talks about his first thoughts he had when he turned on the television 9/11 2001.
DR is "public service" television owned by the state of Denmark and it's population forced to pay a "TV-license" to finance it.
Thankfully this is NOT the opinion of Danes in general and the statements have caused an outrage.
