"Open Letter" to Military General Officers
This is a request for general officers to review their oath of office and contemplate what it means, especially in light of how to respond to domestic enemies of the Constitution. You appear to be our only hope in avoiding another unnecessary bloodbath in a thirdworld country which has little means to project power outside of its own borders and has not attacked us(Iran).

Military General propaganda story: "unspoken threats"
KURTZ: Do you think it was a conflict of interest of some of your fellow former officers to be in that kind of a...
ALLARD: I absolutely do, because the reason why you're there is to offer the public, for whatever the reason you have, however good you are, whatever your opinion matters, is an honest opinion. You offer that without any hope of remuneration, without any hope of reward. That's basically -- the reward you're getting is what CNN, Fox or NBC News pays you to be there. That's it.
KURTZ: Fox analyst Tim Eads was quoting as saying that when he talked about the war or terrorism on television, he held his tongue for fear that "... some four-star could call up and say, 'Kill that contract.'" He was involved in military contracts.
Was that an unspoken threat?
KURTZ: I talked to...

Inside Story - Imprisoned in Gaza - part 2 - Jan 1, 2009
Israel's assault on Gaza has continued into a sixth day, and the death toll has risen to more than 400 people.
According to Israel, it is targeting Hamas' military infrastructure, such as rocket launchers and rocket factories. Also under attack are what the Israeli military calls "suspected hideouts" that, for some, are the most disputed targets, because almost anything can be suspected as a hiding place for weapons or Hamas fighters.
In practice, government buildings, mosques, the Islamic university of Gaza and a refugee camp have come under attack.
After Israel's subjecting Gaza to an aerial pounding for several consecutive days, many Gazans are asking if police stations and government buildings have been, what are now the targets for the continuing bombardment?
