Taşníf-e Dashtí, also related to the dastgáh Shúr is a composition by the renowned musician A. N. Vazírí who had studied music in Europe for several years and who tried to introduce European methods to Iran. He was versed in playing the tár and the violin and he left behind numerous compositions and sound recordings. This instrumental taşníf follows the Dashtí related to the dastgáh Snúr as a specific aváz and which is melodically based on the third and fifth, but always coming back again to the characteristics of the Shúr.
