Sen. Harry Reid Saves the World: Iran not a threat
According to this recent report about the Nat'l Intelligence Estimate, Iran had halted it's pursuit for a nuclear weapon back in 2003. Yet, Iran is still pursuing it's ballistic missile program. Iran is still processing uranium in 3,000 centrifuges. Iran is continuously rattling sabers, and I haven't heard about them abandoning the idea that Isreal should be wiped off of the map.

Iran Test-Fired 9 Missiles
Tension arose anew in the gulf on Wednesday, July 9 when Iran test-fired nine missiles that are capable of hitting Israel, making a dramatic show of its readiness to strike back if the United States or Israel attacks it over its nuclear program. The timing and location of the tests were clearly aimed to send a message, that Tel Aviv would be "set on fire" if Iran is attacked.
Months ago, a Cargo ship hired by the US military reportedly fired warning shots at suspected armed Iranian boats in April 25th Friday, as the Pentagon sharpened its warnings to Tehran. Westward Venture cargo ship chartered by the US Defense Department was traveling in international waters when two unidentified small boats approached them. The boats did not respond to radio queries and a warning flare, the cargo...

Iran announces nuclear expansion
Hello. I'm Kristin Volk with a UPI Headline Update on this Tuesday, April 10, 2007.
Iran is vowing to greatly expand its nuclear program. A government official says the country plans to install 50 thousand centrifuges, which are devices used in the process of enriching uranium. The government says another announcement will be made in the coming days about Iran's plans to construct two 1,000-megawatt power plants. This announcement comes a day after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the country has stepped up its nuclear fuel production to an industrial level.
The White House is accused of using unofficial e-mail accounts to talk about government business. CNN reports congressional investigators found communication about official matters like the firings of U.S. attorneys in...

The President of Iran
The power of "cyclone" for the future of Iran.
*Iran's president says 6,000 new centrifuges will become operational at a uranium enrichment plant in Natanz over the course of the year, according to Iranian news agencies.
"Iran last year installed 3,000 centrifuges and entered the stage of enrichment. And in the current year, new centrifuges will become operational, which is a sign of Islamic Iran's outstanding successes and achievements," Ahmadinejad was quoted as...

Iran unveils nuclear expansion
(Daily News on http://www.parsnewz.com/blog )
Iran's president announces the installation of 6,000 advanced centrifuges at its controversial uranium enrichment plant.
The expansion of nuclear work the West fears is intended for producing weapons is a new snub to the United Nations Security Council which has imposed sanctions on Iran in the dispute over its nuclear intentions.
Paul Chapman reports.

China's Involvement in Iran Nuclear Crisis
China's Involvement in Iran Nuclear Crisis
Israeli expert analyses China's involvement in the Iranian nuclear crisis
Last week, Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Iran now has 3,000 centrifuges for enriching uranium, an announcement that once again put the Iranian nuclear issue back in world media headlines. The U.S. and many other Western nations are threatening economic sanctions to pressure Iran to stop its nuclear program. But despite this, there are two big nations that want to take a more lenient approach. Our Israeli team has more.
Although the UN Security Council ordered Iran to suspend its uranium enrichment activity, Iran still has important political allies. These allies are opposing the international community's call for sanctions.

U.S.-Iran Nuclear Standoff
Who can stop the centifugal force of Iran.
*President George Bush and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown used a joint news conference to show solidarity for Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan matter. In the conference, Brown has announced that Britain will tighten sanctions against Iran and to send more troops to Afghanistan. Britian will also freeze assets of Iran's largest bank in a further move to discourage the country from developing nuclear weapons. Brown speaks that assets of Irans's Bank Melli, accused of providing srevices to Irans's nuclear and ballistic missile programs, would be frozen and will work to persuade other European nations to follow the suit. The U.N. Security council has applied three sets of limited sanctions against Iran for refusing to terminate uranium enrichment, a...

WERI foundation- IRAN COUNTRY REPORT
Stop using nuclear weapon.
Iran's Nuclear Threat
http://www.iaea.org/Publications/Booklets/French/safeguards0806_fr.pdf
With war in Iraq looming and North Korea defiantly pursuing its own nuclear program, the last thing President Bush needs is another nuclear crisis. But that is what he may soon face in Iran. On a visit last month to Tehran, International Atomic Energy Agency director Mohamed ElBaradei announced he had discovered that Iran was constructing a facility to enrich uranium — a key component of advanced nuclear weapons — near Natanz. But diplomatic sources tell TIME the plant is much further along than previously revealed. The sources say work on the plant is "extremely advanced" and involves "hundreds" of gas centrifuges ready to produce enriched uranium and "the parts...

Iran celebrates national nuclear technology day - Press TV
.
April 8th is henceforth celebrated as national nuclear technology day in Iran, after president Ahmadinejad in 2006 broke the news that the first batch of low-enriched uranium had been produced at the Natanz nuclear facility, to provide fuel for the country's reactors.
This year, Iranians heard more happy news on April 8th, as president Ahmadinejad announced the installation of 6000 centrifuges for enrichment purposes.
Despite the west's (USA, EU, Israel's zionist regime) opposition to these achievements, which resulted in three rounds of UN Security Council sanctions resolutions against Iran, it is the country's inalienable right, as a signatory of the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty), to conduct low-grade uranium enrichment under UN supervision. Likewise, IAEA chief Mohammed ElBaradei...

WMD's In The Middle East
The IAEA Board of Governors in 2003 called on Iran to STOP all further uranium enrichment and reprocessing activities. Iran said it would comply but yet, continued to assemble centrifuges and has now OPENLY resumed enrichment.
Additionally, Iran has NEVER been transparent. Iran DID NOT ADMIT that it possessed advanced centrifuge designs (P-2) obtained from the A. Q. Khan WMD blackmarket network. (In light of Libya's admission that Pakistan supplied it with P-2 centrifuge designs, Iran's possession of P-2 designs is not surprising.)
Bottom line: Iran bought some time by making promises it never intended to keep, knowing that the IAEA was just "hot air" and that it could count on the Left, through it's propaganda/spy/disinformation network, to further confuse the public, especially...

US report plays down Iran threat (should the u.s apologise)
Iran appears "less determined" to develop nuclear weapons than previously thought, US intelligence officials say.
Tehran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 but is continuing to enrich uranium, a National Intelligence Estimate assessment has concluded.
Enriched uranium is used in nuclear bombs but Tehran says the aims of its nuclear activities are peaceful.
A senior advisor to President Bush said the report was "positive" but the risk of a nuclear Iran remained "serious".
Iran is currently under sanctions from both the UN Security Council, which is demanding the end of uranium enrichment, and unilateral US sanctions.
'Technical problems'
The declassified summary of the report, which draws together information from the US's 16 intelligence agencies, says with "high...

Nuclear Verification in the Islamic Republic of Iran
The United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has filed its latest report on the implementation of safeguards and relevant provisions of Security Council resolutions in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Timeline leading up to the current report
In December 2006 and again in March 2007 the UN Security Council passed resolutions requiring Iran to comply with the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and urging it to implement a number of safeguards in its nuclear program.
In June 2007 IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei outlined that "diplomacy and negotiation" provided the only durable solution for the implementation of safeguards and relevant provisions of Security Council Resolutions in Iran.
In the months from June to August a number of IAEA inspections were carried...

Enrichment is like breathing for Iran: Larijani
TEHRAN (The Independent& The Guardian)-- Iran has issued its strongest signal to date that it will defy UN demands for a suspension of uranium enrichment threatening to respond to any further sanctions and accusing the Americans of ""running away"" from negotiations to end the crisis over the Iranian nuclear program.
Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani told The Independent and The Guardian that uranium enrichment was ""like breathing"" for his country, and that Iran would not halt the spinning centrifuges at its main enrichment plant in Natanz, even if the Bush administration offered security guarantees. Mr.
Larijani was unusually forthcoming about his negotiations with the European foreign policy envoy, Javier Solana, who has...
