Taliban Graduation - Suicide Bomb Teams Sent to US & Europe
Large teams of newly trained suicide bombers are being sent to the United States and Europe, according to evidence contained on a new videotape obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com. Teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at an al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9. A Pakistani journalist was invited to attend and take pictures as some 300 recruits, including boys as young as 12, were supposedly sent off on their suicide missions. The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed by the U.S. last month, introducing and congratulating each team as they stood. Battle of Britain is the name commonly given to the effort by the German Luftwaffe to gain air superiority over the Royal Air Force (RAF), before a planned sea and airborne invasion of Britain (Operation Sealion) during the Second World War. The Battle of Britain was the first major battle to be fought entirely by air forces. It was the largest and most sustained bombing campaign yet attempted, and the first real test of the strategic bombing theories developed since the previous World War. The failure of Nazi Germany to destroy Britain's air force, or to break the spirit of the British government or people, is considered the Third Reich's first major defeat.

High Quality Federer v Murray US Open Final 2008
Roger Federer cruises to his 5th successive win at the US Open. Murray gave us Brits hope for a while that we had a player that might have the balls and the grit, determination, motivation, fitness, skill and talent to win a Grand Slam. Not since 1936 can we claim this to be true, yet once again were disappointed Murray, although a fighter, and skilful, executing some brilliant shots, did not have the aggressive play needed to win.
We need a player with all of the above, and muscle power. Although he did show off his biceps in a previous match, I think he needs to beef up a lot to make it.
Federer showed his true brilliance, and Murray did make him fight to bring out the best in him. The sheer fast pace of the court and players entertained, but was over too quick in my mind. John McEnroe...

Ex-US Army 2003 Iraq War Veteran Says Bring Troops Home
8th December 2004, Manchester, UK. Supporters of anti-Iraq war groups from the US, Britain and Iraq hold a rally against the Iraq war at the Unitarian Chapel, Cross Street, Manchester city centre.
The public meeting is entitled: "End the Occupation of Iraq - Bring All the Troops Home".
One of the speakers was Michael Hoffman: Michael took part in the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and on his return to Pennsylvania became involved in the anti-war movement. He is co-founder and national coordinator of Iraq Veterans Against the War: http://www.ivaw.org/
