Bilal Asad: The Story of Abu Qudama & the Young Boy Part 1/3
This is a heart wrenching story narrated by Abu Qudama, a 10th century Muslim general from Iraq, about a young man called Muhammad who devoted his whole life to the cause of Islam - fulfilling his vow to his widowed mother to follow in his fathers footsteps and become a warrior, fighting for the sake of Allah to defend the weak. This talk by Bilal Assad takes us through the sequence of events in which Abu Qudama is introduced to this young man, and how his shining example of bravery and faith in Allah carried him through to his very last breath when he fell as a martyr. A Video Response to an atheist's critique of Islamic Groups and the Islamic State (Khilafah). This video seeks to explain not only the cause of the group specifically mentioned: Hizb ul Tahrir, but all non-violent Islamic Groups in general who nobly work for the establishment of the Caliphate in the Muslim world. This work does not just represent the goals of these groups, but the aspirations of the enitre Muslim world for a better future, in this life and the next.
I strongly recommend all Muslims join and work with all (non-violent) Islamic groups working upon the method of the Prophet (saw), to re-establish the noble Khilafah and the Islamic world as an enlightened civilisation again.
