Greenspan slammed on US free trade policies Senator Donald Riegle spares no punches complaining to Alan Greenspan about persistent trade deficts with Japan. This took place back in 1992 ...and trade deficits with Japan have worsened since that time. Since this video aired 15 years ago, the annual trade deficit with Japan has almost doubled to over $7 billion/month ($88 billion for all of 2006). Since this video aired 15 years ago, the total annual trade deficit (for all nations the U.S. trades with) is almost 12 times worse (from $70 billion for all of 1993 to $817 billion for all of 2006). According to the BBC, the U.S. borrowed $2 billion daily in 2006 to finance its trade deficit. This is lunacy and there is no justification for it and it must stop (or it will stop when foreign governments and banks stop financing our trade... Sex trade worsens in U.S. camptowns To "Uri," struggling to find a job in her country, a newspaper advertisement that promised her a successful career as a singer in Korea and lucrative income seemed an opportunity that would not knock twice. The 24-year-old Filipina, who only identified herself with her alias, immediately visited an employment agency in Manila in late 2006. There she took a singing test, which was filmed and sent to a Korean agency and the Korean immigration office. Less than two months later, she flew to Korea with an E-6 visa, issued to foreign performing artists. When the Korean agency took Uri to a club near a U.S. military base in Pyeongtaek, she realized she'd been cheated. 9-11 World Trade Center Memorial - Jeff Buckley/Hallelujah Summer of 1999, my family and I had the opportunity to vacation in New York City. We had a lovely time, saw a few Broadway shows, The Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, The Empire State Building, Central Park and we visited The World Trade Center. At the World Trade Center, there is what is called the "Top of The World" indoor and outdoor observation deck. When arriving at the World Trade Center we had a souvenir photo taken of us in the lobby area then up the elevators to the indoor observation deck and then it ends with a wonderful rooftop stroll with a suburb view.. It is unfortunate for those who have never had the opportunity to see or visit the WTC. They were a couple of enormous and majestic buildings located in lower Manhattan.
