Topol-M SS-27 Missile ICBM
The single-warhead Topol-M is an advanced version of the silo-based and mobile Topol intercontinental ballistic missile. The solid-propellant three- stage Topol-M missile complex, with a standardized (silo and mobile) missile, is to become the foundation of the Russian strategic nuclear forces in the 21st century. It is planned to accommodate Topol-M both on self-propelled launchers as well as in silos. High survivability of the mobile complex is achieved by the capability of offroad movement, of a continuous change in location and of a missile launch from any point along the movement route. The Moscow Institute of Heat Engineering (MIT) State Enterprise is the only plant in Russia building such missiles today.
The modernized 45-ton Topol-M is the first strategic missile to be built by...

US Anti-Missile Shield vs Russian Federation Topol-M
http://www.youtube.com/PowerRussia
US Anti Missile Shield. National Missile Defense (NMD) as a generic term is a military strategy and associated systems to shield an entire country against incoming Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBMs). The missiles could be intercepted by other missiles, or possibly by lasers. They could be intercepted near the launch point (boost phase), during flight through space (mid-course phase), or during atmospheric descent (terminal phase).
Russian Federation RT-2UTTKh «Topol-M» (Russian: РТ-2УТТХ «Тополь-М») is one of the most recent intercontinental ballistic missiles to be deployed by Russia (see RS-24), and the first to be developed after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. In its Russian designation РТ stands for "ракета...

Topol-M RS-12M2 (SS-27)
Topol-M PC-12M2 for friends or SS-27 for enemies is an ICBM which is rather an ICM, because it isn't really use ballistic way to reach the target. The missile system was tested in 2005 and deployed soon after, now it is a part of Russia's nuclear deterrent. As the first non-ballistic (in the midle phase it lies towards target(s) with randomly generated in and off mode of the engine wich is controlled by an intelligent warhead) strategic missile it is totally immune to any ballistic missile defense, this fact is already an answer to NATO's (USA) agressive BMD policies "against rogue states". Th survivability is increased with shieldings and countermeasures against all currently deployed interceptors.
Sea-based variation (Bulava) is already tested in 2005, and after some unacceptable...

3rd May Rehearsal for the Victory Day parade 2008
On May 3, rehearsal of the upcoming Victory Day parade involving sophisticated T-90 tanks, heavy-duty Topol-M ICBMs, and other military vehicles was held on Moscow's Red Square and Tverskaya street.
Victory Day marks the final surrender by Nazi Germany to the U.S.S.R. in WWII, often referred to as the Great Patriotic War in Russia and other states in the former Soviet Union.
During the rehearsal for the parade, a crowd of spectators cheered the appearance of formidable T-90 main battle tanks, Smerch multiple-launch rocket systems, S-300 air defense systems, Iskander-M tactical missile systems and Topol-M ballistic missile systems.
You can watch all my pictures from two rehearsals (29 April and 3 May)on this website:
