The Syrian connection has become a major problem for the United States since an Israeli air strike in Syria in September. The target was widely reported to be a nuclear facility under construction with help from North Korea. Current and former U.S. officials said yesterday that intelligence points to a plutonium-related facility.
Yesterday, Mr. Hill said the North’s declaration must account for the Syrian connection. “We discussed all of the elements that we believe need to be included, including the Syrian matter and uranium enrichment,” he said of his talks with Mr. Kim.

Korean Beauty
Beauty of the Korean culture and people.
Branch of the Altaic family:
Korean
Koreans are believed to be descendents of Altaic or proto-Altaic-speaking tribes, linking them with Mongolians, Tungusics, Turkics, and other Central Asians. Archaeological evidence suggest proto-Koreans were Altaic-language-speaking migrants from south-central Siberia, who populated ancient Korea in successive waves from the neolithic age to the Bronze Age.
Recent advances in the study of polymorphisms in the human Y-chromosome have produced evidence to suggest that the Korean people have a very long history as a distinct, mostly endogamous ethnic group, as male Koreans display a high frequency of Y-chromosomes belonging to Haplogroup O2b that are more or less specific to Korean populations.

Two Marines and Two Korean War Soldiers With Very Different
"Some gave all and some gave some." That is a very fitting thought for this story about four Americans who served their country during a particularly horrific war in the early 1950's against Communism on the Korean Peninsula. Two of the men were U.S. Marines who fought and lived; two are soldiers who died in 1950.
One day after Northwest families laid two Korean War Marine Corps veterans to rest, an unusual coincidence considering how few of these Marines are alive today, the government says announces the return of two soldiers who have been missing for decades, only now recovered from a mass grave in North Korea.
