As we are living in a multipolar world, humanity needs new rules in three main areas based on the principles of the Peace of Westphalia, (1648 treaty agreement that ended the Thirty Years War in Europe) and established the principle of cooperation among sovereign nation-states, following the basic principle of 'Non-Intervention' to persue the benefit of the other.
1- New Security International Agreements in which the expansion of NATO must be stopped.
Simply unacceptable neither Russia nor China will surrender to the EU nor to US control.

George Bush destroyed the current security system (United Nations, Organisation of American States, NATO, etc) Since they unilateraly attacked Iraq bypassing the UN and violating the international law.
Now with the collapse of the financial system which free market policies were a failure the west is weaker than before. The world is confronting huge challenges like more competition for resources.
This creates a dangerous situation which equals the vacuum of security treaties before the second war. The reason for this is that the UN has lost relevance worldwide.

Russia will be forced to appropriately respond if the U.S. aggravates Eastern Europe by deploying its controversial missile defence system, President Dmitry Medvedev has told Russian diplomats. Medvedev has called for a truly open security system in the Euro-Atlantic zone.
"The deployment of elements of the U.S. global missile defence system in Eastern Europe is only aggravating the situation. We will have to respond appropriately and our American and European partners have already been warned," Medvedev said.
Medvedev stressed both Russia and the U.S. share responsibility for preserving strategic stability.

In my opinion Obama will be the next US President.
Obama will receive a country experiencing a socialist financial revolution, as the US government has announced a $250bn (£143bn) plan to purchase stakes in a wide variety of banks in an effort to restore confidence in the sector.
President George W Bush said the move would help to return stability to the US banking sector and ultimately help preserve free markets ironically by taken socialist actions. He just does not understand that Free Market is over.
US federal authorities will also temporarily insure most new debt issued by US banks.
