I joined up. [A] month out of training I arrived in Baghdad, Iraq, January '04. Saddam's been captured. And I get there and the guys I'm serving with have been there for six months already; they were there in '03. And I go, "Well, you know what, I think it's come out that, you know, these people had nothing to do with 9/11, there was no Iraqi on those planes. We can see around here there's no Al Qaida, there's no terrorist syndicates in Baghdad, or Iraq. Saddam had stamped 'em out."

8th December 2004, Manchester, UK. Supporters of anti-Iraq war groups from the US, Britain and Iraq hold a rally against the Iraq war at the Unitarian Chapel, Cross Street, Manchester city centre.
The public meeting is entitled: "End the Occupation of Iraq - Bring All the Troops Home".

US Soldiers torture Iraq Children...
The title of course is not true, its misleading, just like 90% of what you see about the US Military in Iraq. What it really is is this, Soldiers handing out soccer balls to Iraqi children and administering medicine to livestock. Scenes include Soldiers loading and playing with soccer balls, setting up an area for working with the livestock, giving animals injections, handing out the balls and playing soccer with the children and a Soldier speaking through a translator explaining the significance of the soccer balls.

For years UK/US security denied the existance of this cockpit video but here it is, finally revealed.
IMHO. It's all too easy to blame the clear incompetence of the U.S pilots. YET AGAIN this shabby, amateur Labour government must be held accountable for failing YET AGAIN to equip our troops with up to date equipment. It seems rather than investing in advanced 21st century communications equipment that would have prevented this, they relied on the cheaper alternative of using the colour orange. Pathetic! I hope the facts of this aspect don't get buried in the typical knee-jerk anti-American jingoism that is so trendy in...

U.S. Army Mortar Platoon Iraq 05
30 Aug 2005, Mortar Platoon 2/121 IN 48BCT Georgia Army National Guard fires its first combat fire mission since WWII. Used as counterbattery against insurgents, the Mortarmen from Georgia were able to reduce the number of enemy mortar attacks on allied 3/4/6 Iraqi Army forces from an average of 2 a day to about 1 or 2 a week from the date of this video through 23 Oct 2005.
