Taiwan's Chinese Nationalist Party Celebrates 114th Annivers
And in Taiwan, the governing Chinese Nationalist Party celebrated its 114th anniversary. President Ma Ying-jeou displayed confidence despite facing criticism at home. Our correspondent Ben Hedges has the story.
The President of Taiwan, or the Republic of China, as it still officially calls itself, is greeting the founder of the Chinese Nationalist Party Sun Yat-sen. The Nationalists once ruled all of China, that is before the communist party won the civil war in 1949. The pomp and ceremony brings back the glory of a bygone age.
With events of the last century left behind, the Nationalist Party has a lot to celebrate. In the now Democratic Taiwan, they were voted back into power this year after watching the Democratic Progressive Party hold the reigns since the year 2000.

Chinese Nationalist Thugs Riot in Seoul
10,000 CCP-funded (who do you think paid for all those pretty flags) Chinese attacked police and pro-Tibet demonstrators during the Olympic Torch relay in Seoul, South Korea.
This is the true face of Chinese Nationalism, or rather all nationalism for that matter.
Unfortunately the "biased" Western Media has under reported these riots.

Is the Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT) better than the DPP?
When people associated with Taiwan's Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) do things semi-sort-of approaching the lower end of what you'll see in this video (e.g., when Chuang Kuo-jung [莊國榮] insinuated that Ma Ying-jeou's father was incestuous), the media flails them until they either step down or are forced out of their positions.
Let's examine these examples of behavior by the people who won the recent legislative and presidential elections supposedly because they were "so much better" than the DPP.
1) Chiu Yi (邱毅). On the night of the loss of the 2004 presidential election by the Chinese KMT/People First Party (pan-blue) ticket of Lien Chan (連戰) and James Soong (宋楚瑜), Chiu took a campaign truck and hordes of pan-blue supporters to the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors'...

The Chinese Revolution in 1949 refers to the final stage of fighting (1946--1950) in the Chinese Civil War. In some anti-revisionist communist media and historiography, as well as the official media of the Communist Party of China, this period is known as the War of Liberation (traditional Chinese: 解放戰爭; simplified Chinese: 解放战争; pinyin: Jiěfàng Zhànzhēng).
With the breakdown of peace talks between the Kuomintang or Chinese Nationalist Party (KMT), and the Communist Party of China (CPC), an all-out war between these two forces resumed. The Soviet Union provided limited aid to the communists, and the United States assisted the Nationalists with hundreds of millions of dollars...
