Shanghai’s Civil Defense Office recently announced completion of the city’s largest subterranean bunker, spanning an area of over 90,000 square meters, reported Shanghai Morning Post. The massive underground shelter is able to accommodate 200,000 citizens at a time, offering protection from ground-level disasters such as nuclear radiation, poisonous gas releases, or terrorist blasts.

This underground air raid shelter was unearthed off Albert Road, Stoke, Plymouth, England in 2001. It served the school that was here in the second world war.The marble Chinese chop was found hidden away in an above head level alcove by the entrance!!!.

Fortunate Son - Linebacker II - The Gloves Are Off
Linebacker II was an intense, B-52 driven bombing campaign of North Vietnamese rail yards, power plants, ports, radio stations, factories, supply depots, and air fields. Many targets were forbidden in earlier years due to fears of getting the Russians, or Chinese involved. Additional bombers were flown-in from the States and were assigned to either U-Tapao air base in Thailand, or our base at Guam.
The missions were supported by F-4 "Wild Weasels" that would hunt out AAA batteries and SAM 5's, and knock out their radar installations.
