Matzpen - Anti-Zionist Israelis
Matzpen, the Israeli socialist organization, has never had more than a few dozen active members. Still, at the end of the sixties and beginning of the seventies, it was considered a real threat to the Israeli political and social consensus. Most of Matzpen's members were Israeli born, coming from the deep core of Israeli society. Their fight against Zionism and against the occupation, as well as their contacts with Palestinian and European left-wing activists, were the cause of threats, slander, as well as political and social isolation.

Munich Music Video (John Williams)
5 September 1972, Munich. A group of Palestinian terrorists take eleven Israeli athletes hostage at the Summer Olympics. 6 September, five of eight terrorist, one German police officer and all eleven athletes are dead.
'Munich', a film by Steven Spielberg, is about Israel's response: Operation Wrath of God. The film isn't entirely true, what happened in Munich is real but the response is partly fictional.
This video is a tribute to one of the most interesting films I've ever seen. The music is composed and conducted by long time Spielberg collaborate John Williams. This film is a tragic view on terrorism and how to respond to those acts of violence.

1942 - Hidden History of Slovakia / Part I.
The story of how Jews came to be on trains to Auschwitz is one of the most shocking and surprising in the history of the Nazis' "Final Solution."
The people on these trains were from Slovakia - many from the capital, Bratislava. Slovakia was a new country. Created only in 1939 and the majority of the Slovaks were now fiercely nationalistic.
The President, Jozef Tiso, was a Catholic priest. And the Prime Minister, Vojtech Tuka, was also deeply religious. They had implemented a series of anti-Semitic measures chiefly born of religious and cultural intolerance. And at the forefront of tormenting the Jewish population were the nationalist Hlinka guard.

Then and Now, Part I
In September 2005, Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten published a series of cartoons about Prophet Mohammed. This event lead to violent protests by Muslims worldwide in February 2006. The embassies of Denmark and Norway were torched. 139 people were killed in Nigeria, Libya, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The rioters justified their acts claiming the publication of the cartoons was a grave insult to their religion. Muslim countries called for limitations to the Freedom of the Press in the West to avoid offending their sensitivities.
But seldom is the question asked: Is the Islamic press itself free from bigotry?
In this video, we explore the similarities between the cartoons published in the Islamic world, and those published during the Nazi era.

A Reaction
I found many Videos on Youtube that stereotypes just one side as victim and shows the other side as the opressor. Letz face it: thats not the reality of this conflict and its allways easy to blame one side and to create bias.
What I wanted to do with that video was showing both sides of the conflict, people who are suffering from war, people who lost family members, friends; soldiers who have to do their job (even taking the risk to get killed.).
My video doesnt want to show bloodshit, There are alot of pictures going around that shows killed children. I think its not good to show that. there is a border of humanity and ethics and we shouldnt go further on, to go over limits.

Eurovision 1979 - Germany
Dschinghis Khan (the group) performing "Dschinghis Khan" (the song), the German entry at the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest.
Well, does this classic need any introduction? Inspired by Boney M's "Rasputin", this is an immensely catchy and entertaining song and performance (love the part with Genghis grabbing the girls) and one of the brightest spots in ESC stalwart Ralph Siegel's impressive catalogue. No wonder why the crowd loved it!
And a bit of info: the multi-ethnic group was put together by Siegel especially for this performance, and they followed this huge hit with similar style hits such as "Moskau" and "Sahara". Surprisingly, they're still performing today, although sadly two of their members have passed away: Louis Hendrik Potgieter (the guy dressed as Khan) from AIDS in 1993, and...
