A320 Plane Almost Crashed During Crosswind Landing Germany Sponsored by: http://click3net.fxacr.hop.clickbank.net Airbus A320 Lufthansa nearly crashed during a crosswind approach on the runway 23 at the airport Hamburg International (EDDH) on March 1st 2008 in Germany. Extreme landing or approach. Crash. Left wing touched the runway. Crazy. Hard and dangerous. Funny landing. Storm Emma 2008 in Germany (Hamburg EDDH). After the landing the left wing was destroyed. Severe cross wind conditions, the aircraft was caught by a gust lifting its right wing up causing its left wingtip to strike the runway. Lufthansa Airbus A320 wingstrike at Hamburg during Emma Someone else shot this video of a Lufthansa Airbus A320 on a flight from Munich to Hamburg which hits the left wingtip and almost drags the right engine on runway 33 during extreme weather and gusting crosswinds caused by storm Emma. Picture here http://bjones4.com/temp/LH.jpg Aircraft are certified to land in steady crosswinds (around 30 knots/55 km per hour) and crews are trained for this and do practice maximum crosswind landings in the simulator several times per year. The crosswind component at the time was around 20 to 25 knots which is within the croswind limitation of the aircraft. Left 4 Dead Demo Gameplay (High Quality) Since I pre-ordered L4D, I get early access to the demo! Yay! Here's some exclusive gameplay I filmed with FRAPs (the framerate is quite good since I have four cores of pure CPU power and Left 4 Dead will be the first Source game to support multithreading) I'm playing with my friend Frozen Fire (he's Calas7 on YouTube). Unfortunately, his mic is a bit screwed up and you can't really hear him that well. He asked me to state that he was in fact the best player in this vid as he did the most damage to the infected at the end scoreboard. He's playing as Zoey (he claims there is nothing cooler than a chick shooting zombies) and I'm playing as Louis (I like his punch lines) and Bill and Francis are being played by bots. Wow!
