According to the author China is building up its high tech weapons to "take on America" in some future conflict. Isn't that exactly what the United States is doing? Planning to take on China in a future war. In fact the US is planning on total World dominance if it can achieve such a thing. I believe the term used by former Defense Secretary Rumsfeld was "Full Spectrum Dominance"...giving the US the ability to rule the entire World. Of course this would be like any empire in past history wanting to take over all resources for its own greedy use. It's amazing that the US which spends more on defense than every other country on Earth combined seems to be worried about China's defense spending. The big question is WHY DOES AMERICA NEED TO SPEND ITSELF INTO BANKRUPTCY TRYING TO BUY AN EMPIRE? Who today really poses any real threat to our homeland? Is anyone preparing to invade America? When America finally goes down it will not be because we were conquered from without but because we spent ourselves into oblivion. So!
