This video uncommonly introduced how China build Missile Silo in Tibet. The engineering troops in the video is 107th Engineering Regiment (Headquarters Location: Taibai County 太白县, Baoji City 宝鸡, Shanxi Province 陕西). The commander of 107th regiment is Col. Zheng Zhilong (郑治隆).
In the video, the regiment found a new digging concept of "Light Explosion" to resolve the problems in tundra of Tibet.
It is said that years before PLA has set up a standby nuclear force commanding Headquarters and more ICBM silos in North-west China and called it as "308" project. 107th Regiment's activities in Tibet maybe the part of this project.

Aussie Firm Develops Missile Catamarans for China

It's recently been revealed, the Chinese Navy is using an Australian design to expand its warship fleet to include catamarans armed with missiles. But some Australian experts warn this may be bad for Australia's national interest. Sheridan Harvey has more:

As an ally of the U.S., there's a good chance Australia would come to the aid of Taiwan in case of a conflict with China.

US sent Taiwan missile components by mistake: Pentagon

WASHINGTON (AFP) — The United States mistakenly sent Taiwan four fuses used in triggers for nuclear weapons in the fall of 2006 and only discovered the mistake last week, the Pentagon said Tuesday.
The fuses were recovered Monday from Taiwan where they were believed to have been held in storage after being mistakenly shipped as helicopter batteries from a Defense Department logistics facility, senior Pentagon officials said.
US Defense Secretary Robert Gates ordered an investigation into the incident and a comprehensive review of all nuclear-related components in the US inventory, senior officials said.

The Second Artillery Corps (SAC) (第二炮兵部队) is the strategic missile forces of the People's Republic of China. The SAC is a major division of the People's Liberation Army that controls China's nuclear and conventional strategic missiles. China's total nuclear arsenal size is estimated to be between 100 and 400 nuclear weapons. The SAC is comprised of approximately 90,000-120,000 personnel and six ballistic missile brigades. The six brigades are independently deployed in different military regions.
