I’ve got a bad feeling about this

Posted by Matt in June 10th, 2008

Okay, I want to hear the White House response to this, but it looks like twice in twenty-four hours I’ll be agreeing with a Democratic congresscritter. This time it’s Ed Markey, a Massachusetts Democrat, no less, who is advancing the radical proposal that maybe George Bush shouldn’t be committing your tax dollars to developing a nuclear program for Saudi Arabia:

Nuclear Iran is a Threat to Saudi Arabia and Israel, not America
Iran does not have ICBM or long range delivery systems that can reach America. Iran’s navy is small boats, no aircraft carriers. Iran does not have submarines that can deliver a nuke to America. Iran does not have long range heavy bombers. America crossed the threshold Iran has not yet crossed almost 70 years ago. 90% of all Pakistanis consider America the enemy, they are the only Islamic nuclear power. They love murder and threaten it to their neighbor daily. Israel did 9/11 with Mike Mullen’s buddies. Mike Mullen is decieving you, Pakistan is a much greater threat, but Mike sucks on Zadari’s penis while Pervez Musharraf rans him in the butt. This man is a traitor. Beware Globalist Militant National Socialist Traitors. Admiral Mike Mullen is a Zionist Israeli global national socialist…

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The United States signed an agreement Thursday on civil nuclear cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. Calling the agreement “a powerful and timely model for the world and the region,” Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice signed the deal, along with UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed. “We applaud the UAE’s commission — commitment to the highest standards of safety, security and nonproliferation in its pursuit of nuclear power,” Rice said. Videos deepen mystery surrounding Iranian nuclear scientist
A missing Iranian nuclear scientist has appeared in two different videos, each offering contradictory accounts of his whereabouts. The videos emerged on the eve of a UN Security Council vote on a fresh round of sanctions over Iran’s nuclear programme. In one, released by Iranian state television, a man said to be Shahram Amiri says he was kidnapped by US intelligence agents during a religious pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, a claim the US has denied. In the other, a man who also identifies himself as Amiri, says he is freely living in the US, pursuing an advanced degree in physics. Al Jazeera’s Patty Culhane reports. (June 09, 2010)

Pakistan Nuclear Test 28-05-1998
On May 28, 1998 Pakistan had successfully conducted five nuclear tests. The Pakistani Atomic Energy Commission reported that the five nuclear tests conducted on May 28 generated a seismic signal of 5.0 on the Richter scale, with a total yield of up to 40 KT (equivalent TNT). Dr. AQ Khan claimed that one device was a boosted fission device and that the other four were sub-kiloton nuclear devices. On May 30, 1998 Pakistan tested one more nuclear warhead with a reported yield of 12 kilotons. The tests were conducted at Balochistan, bringing the total number of claimed tests to six. It has also been claimed by Pakistani sources that at least one additional device, initially planned for detonation on 30 May 1998, remained emplaced underground ready for detonation.
