hey hi !!this is sumeet kshirsagar.i ve recently been to nathula{india china border} in sikkim in the month of may 2008....
the whole experience was grt u see!!
esp ..the most astonishin thin to see in this video is "My Dad"...damn!!!he is so used to teh ice that he didnt even care to wear a sweater or a jacket on that day to nathula.....i was wearin hell lot of warm inners,jackets and other garments!!!...still...i was shiverring like hell!!!
the temparature was somewhere in "-" pata nahi kitna tha....
the best parts to see in this video is..
1] the chinese guards...and the indian soldiers too{wo muchhad singh mujhe un chinese soldiers se haath milane nahi diya......but jaatay samay i waved those chinese soldiers...they too waved me back...actually our indian soldires said...

New Delhi, June 11(ANI): Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh said that India China border dispute has to go a long way. Addressing the probationary officers of the Indian Foreign Service or IFS in New Delhi on Wednesday, Singh said that the border issue with China is omplicated and India is engaged in finding a pragmatic pathway.

Beijing - China on Tuesday expressed anger at Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee's statement that a disputed Himalayan border region was an 'integral part of India.'
'We deeply regret the Indian side's remarks, which take no regard of the historical facts,' Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said after Mukherjee's weekend visit to the north-eastern Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.
Qin said China would express its position to India 'in an appropriate way,' after Mukherjee on Sunday claimed that China was 'fully aware that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.'

India and China seek to boost relations - 13 Jan 08
The leaders of India and China are meeting in Beijing over the next three days in an effort to boost friendlier relations.
It's Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's first visit to China, which will discuss strengthening economic ties, as well border disputes in the Himalayan region.
On his arrival, Prime Minister Singh said both countries and the world stood to gain from the growth of India and China.
But Matt Mcclure reports not everyone is welcoming closer relations.

China - India improve cooperation
Yunnan, 21 Dec (ANI): China and India, who fought a brief border war in 1962, have started a week-long anti-terrorism military drill to improve trust and cooperation as the two rising powers seek to put aside decades of frosty relations. The exercise, called "Hand-in-Hand, 2007", is being held in China's south-western province of Yunnan and involves 100 troops from each country.

Greatly improved living condition of "Zhaxi Gang" company
This video news told that the living conditions of india-china border "Zhaxi Gang" (扎西岗) frontier company （Location: ga'er county 噶尔县, A'li Area 阿里地区, Tibetan Autonomous Region）have been greatly improved.
The company has used patrol vehicle in border inspection. They use solar battery to satisfy all electronic systems in 24hours/day. And water purification devices have been installed for providing drinking water for soldiers. Besides, the company also has its own Greenhouse and soldiers can enjoy vegetable in winter.
"Zhaxi Gang" (扎西岗) frontier company is subject to A'li Military Region.

The tanneries had to be shifted out of the city to the outskirts to check pollution yielding place to more Chinese restaurants offering a mind boggling variety of Chinese cuisine. The eateries are choc a bloc on most weekends and holidays.
