Can a thoroughly discriminatory, hateful and genocidal cult, religion or ideology have 'moderate' members? Have we misunderstood nazism, was it in effect a different culture enriching the cultural diversity, misunderstood and "hijacked by some extremists" ? Were there 'moderate nazi's' that held 'moderately' anti-semitic views? What would constitute a 'moderate' muslim? Someone who thinks only some rape victims should be stonded, and only some gays strung up ? I fail to understand what people mean when they speek of "moderate islam".
