Iran to get ICBMs before missile shield deployed

Posted by Matt in June 24th, 2008

Meanwhile experts believe Iran will be able to produce inter-continental ballistic missiles capable of reaching Europe, and possibly America, by 2015. Some intelligence reports suggest Iran will have obtained the amount of uranium needed for a nuclear weapon much sooner.

Connecting the Dots

The articles below show Iran developing the technology to enrich uranium, build a nuclear bomb and deliver it. Iran has the information it needs to weaponize a nuclear bomb so it can fit on a missile. It has the solid-fuel technology to build scalable missiles that can reach Europe or America. It’s just a matter of time.

Iran Missile Test Reactions (Iranvnc.com)
Fallout continues over the missile test conducted by Iran July 9th and 10th. Iran fired nine missiles, at least one capable of reaching Israel. Both US Presidential candidates called the action a dangerous threat. The test "demonstrates the need for effective missile defense now and in the future, [and this includes missile defense in Europe as is planned with the Czech Republic and Poland."] "Iran is a great threat. We have to make sure we are working with our allies to apply tightened pressure on Iran." Although some military analysts downplayed the threat and some experts question whether Iran even fired its new Shahab-3 missile as reported. Secretary of State Condileezza Rice asserts the tests show Iran is a clear and present danger. "I see it as evidence that the missile threat...

Iran Missile Program (IranVNC.com)
This week, Iranian official sources announced that Iran has started to arm the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps artilleries with state-of-the-art smart munitions and cluster shells, to which IRGC forces would "overwhelm invaders with their fire power." Iran's current missile system of Shahab-1, Shahab-2, and the new No Dong (North Korea) rockets are capable of firing deep into Europe. Stopping the Islamic Republic from developing nuclear missiles of this reach is the basis of the debate over Iran's uranium enrichment program. The Shahab missiles, according to Iran's military officials are aimed at Israel, ready to retaliate should Israel decide to launch a preemptive strike. "Israel is located entirely within our reach of our missiles. Our missile power is such that the Zionist...

US & Israel To Develop Modern Arrow 3 Missile Defense System
With the threat of a nuclear Iran looming ahead the Arrow missile defense system is instrumental for Israel's defense, allowing it to counter the threat of long range and nuclear tipped missile attacks by Iran or Syria. Considered the showpiece of American and Israeli technology, the Arrow program should provide Israel with overall protection from ballistic missile attacks and the US with key research for other missile defense programs.Visiting Israel this week Lieutenant-General Henry Obering III the head of the US Missile Defense Agency informed  Israeli defense officials that he will recommend to the American government and Congress the need to assist in  financing most of the development of a moder

Condi Rice Lies About Purpose of US Missile Defense Grid
After the U.S. and the Polish Government agreed to put 10 U.S. funded missile defense intercepters on Polish soil, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice denied that it had anything to do with Russia, saying instead that they were being put there to defend Poland against North Korea or Iran. The only problem with that, um, LIE, is that neither North Korea nor Iran have any missiles that can reach Poland, and even if they built some, Iran and North Korea don't have any political disagreements with Poland. So she's either lying here, or she's so incredibly mis-informed about international politics that she should resign from her post immediately. Clip is from the August 22, 2008 edition of Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC.

Bomb Iran But Do Not Obliterate Them. Destroy Missiles
If Israel bombs Iran's nuclear facilities and Iran in return blocks the Strait of Hormuz, the United States and it's allies will have no other choice but to obliterate Iran's "high tech military" (planes, ships, missiles, rubber boats, sling shots, etc), putting Iran in it's place, and leaving them as a diminished threat to their neighbors. The Wall Street Journal Iran's Missile Threat July 10, 2008; Page A14 Talk about timing, perhaps fortuitous. On Tuesday, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was in Prague signing an agreement that's a first step toward protecting Europe from ballistic missile attack. As if on cue, Tehran yesterday tested nine missiles, including several capable of reaching southern Europe, as well as Israel and U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East. Remind...
