Saras Aircraft, NAL, India
Saras is the first civilian aircraft designed and developed in India by National Aerospace Laboratories(NAL). This 14 seater aircraft is named after the Indian Crane "Saras". This is the video of maiden flight of second prototype which took place in Banglaore on April 18, 2007. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PT6A turboProp engines.

Somaliland Building its Navy to combat pirates in the GULF of ADEN, Somalia is behind piracy in the region.
Somaliland is not only the best democracy in the Horn of Africa but also its working very hard to stablize the region by creating strong and well maintain navy and army and hopefully once the world recognizes Somaliland it will build its airforce and work with nations such as the United States, Japan, Korea, Germany, Israel, Great Britain and France, as well as African states such as Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and Senegal.
Somaliland will be holding elections soon, it has three political parties (Udub, Kulmiye and Ucid).
France has agreed to help Somaliland build its navy, and help them develop strong economy, while England has agreed as well.
Tomorrow our president flies to Nairobi Kenya to take part in the IGAD meetings in Kenya to help the neighboring countries find a solution...

Ceremonial Reception For SL Navy Heroes - Part II
The Sri Lanka Navy hold a 'ceremonial reception' today at the Trincomalee Naval Base, for the Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs) and sailors, who took part in destroying three LTTE gun-running vessels, that were sunk in deep sea last week.
Sri Lanka Navy Ships, Samudura - the flagship acquired from India, SLNS Samudura - formerly of the US Coast Guard, 'Courageous' SLNS Suranimala (acquired from Israel), SLNS Shakthi (acquired from China) and two other ships was given a grand welcome, naval sources said.

South African warship arrives in India
Kochi, November 15 (ANI): South African naval warship South African Ship or SAS Spioenkop, a Valor Class frigate, on Friday berthed at Kochi on a goodwill visit. It will conduct joint naval exercises with Indian Navy when it sets sail on Tuesday. The South African warship is on a deployment to promote intercontinental cooperation. The ship's itinerary before the Indian port included Singapore, China, Malaysia and Vietnam. Its next port of call would be Mauritius.
