The Russians are looking to mend fences with China in order to establish a large, well-funded axis to counter the US and there are no shortage of takers. 

However, MAD is still in play and it won&#039;t be ONLY east of Xian that would be destroyed; that, we promise.
 
Almost a decade ago, there were open-source reports of Chinese intention of trying to take Taiwan in 2009. We should preempt this (and an axis) by letting it be known that we favor a reunification of Taiwan with China, putting it on a time-line. This measure should be tied to them breaking ties to Iran; the loss of every major city with a dense population of Chinese is worth much more than a measly $250 billion... Not to mention the loss of revenue stream from devastated trade.
