How Rome Built - and America Is Building - a New World

Posted by Matt in July 25th, 2008

In Madden’s historically linked world, the defeat of Carthage in 204 B.C. is the mirror image of the D-Day invasion of World war II. The contempt the Greeks had for Romans even after Rome saved them from civil war is a historical analog to the Europeans’ anti-Americanism and arrogance even after the American military bailed out Europe - twice, plus winning the Cold War.

Conversations with History: Chalmers Johnson
Conversations host Harry Kreisler welcomes Chalmers Johnson for a discussion of his new book, Nemesis. In the interview, Johnson, an Emeritus Professor of the University of California, analyzes the impact of the American empire on democracy at home. Comparing the United States to Rome and Great Britain, he argues that a combination of military Keynesianism, the Bush administration's attempt to implement a unitary presidency, and the failed checks on executive ambition point to political and economic bankruptcy. The Zulu have felt our cold swords, the French fell by sniffing the sence of gunpowder and the Chinese will never send any ship anymore to our shores. Many great people asked themselves and the people around them what is Rome? I say it's a city with history of war and peace, rising and falling economies, religions from all over the globe, new technologies been found as well as new cities, the rise and fall of empires, yes Rome has seen a lot and has ment a lot in history. It gained wealth, happiness, technology, culture and might. All the other empires awe as they witness the beauty that is Rome. All of them except one ......

Return to Glory - The Truth About Black History
Lets see how many brainless Gentiles (Europeans) look up this video and make ignorant comments. It amazes me that white people can be so ignorant and so racist yet be so sure about what they think is right. Pharaohnic history is not your history. You're like a Gentile American claiming the history of the Aztecs and Incas in early America. You're like the Gentiles who committed genocide in South Afrika and then claimed the land. You are not Afrikan, you are a foreigner to Afrika and Nile Valley civilization; the white Arabs in Egypt today are the descendants of invaders. The least you white people can do is understand the historic genocide that took place in North Afrika and still takes place. The white Arabs in Egypt today have privilege in that nation because their ancestors invaded it...

Hate to burst the bubble but by the time D-Day happened, WWII was half over with. Most of the top-notch German units were fighting and losing to the Russians!

In fact Russia inflicted more than 80% of German loses during the war. Russia deserves more credit about the defeat of the Germans than the other allies.

Oxi..you’re absolutely right. Most Americans believe that the US and England did most of the fighting to defeat the Nazis. In fact by the time of D Day June 6, 1944 the Nazis had already lost the war. The Eastern War front was grinding the German army to bits. The Russians beat and pushed the vaunted Nazi war machine from the outskirts of Moscow all the way to Hitler’s bunker in Berlin. Russia lost millions in that conflict while most Americans know only about the exploits of General Patton.
There does seem to be a great lack of knowledge about WWII wherein most seem to think America alone won the war.

Gentlemen… These aren’t accurate portrayals of the truth.

Hitler had laid low all of Europe, including Britain, which was continually holed up in it’s bomb shelters. If the United States wasn’t supplying her (and much of the rest of Europe) with support, she would’ve caved long before.

“At the same time, the United States was contributing enormously to the war in Russia through lend-lease—almost $11 billion in materials, including over 400,000 jeeps and trucks, 12,000 armored vehicles (including 7,000 tanks, enough to equip some 20-odd U.S. armored divisions), 14,000 aircraft, and 1.75 million tons of food.”
http://www.history.army.mil/books/amh/AMH-22.htm

Despite all the help from the United States to Russia during the German onslaught, it was still a close one. Moscow could have fallen and in fact, if not for the following conditions/events, Germany would likely have conquered Russia:

1. mud, which slowed down the German war machine just as it did Napolean’s
2. the Soviet Union’s great expanse, which made logistic (i.e., stable) supply lines increasingly difficult
3. the Russian winter, which~ coupled with the broken supply lines left the Germans without winter clothing
4. the (then) upcoming attack of the Japanese on the Americans. Stalin had been previously concerned that the Japanese would attack Russia from the East, but once he knew of the impending attack on America, he moved the troops from the East to support the front against the Germans.

The fact is, that without American support, most of the world wouldn’t be around in it’s present form to freely criticize us.

P.S.- Patton was right.
