Russia is telling us that a regional conflict or local conflict could trigger a pre-emptive nuclear strike.
What does this mean?
Who is Russia going to launch a pre-emptive strike upon? There is only one answer, and that is America.
America itself doesn’t have to do anything. It is enough that a friend/ally of America trigger a conflict or war with a Russia friend/ally.
For example, if American ally, Israel, uses nuclear weapons to destroy the Russian ally, Syria, then America could be subject to a Russia nuclear strike.
Imagine that you are an historian in 2025 looking back at the great nuclear war in 2015. You will be able to point out that Russia told us what it was going to do well before any conflict occurred. Alas, the people just didn’t believe the Russian leaders.
In the past 15 years two Chinese generals cooly informed us that we could be subject to nuclear attack over Taiwan. We didn’t believe them either.
The one lesson we learn from history is that people don’t learn from history.
While Moscow and Washington have made progress in strategic nuclear arms talks, Russia’s security may come under threat from regional conflicts and local wars, Nikolai Patrushev, secretary of the Kremlin’s powerful Security Council, said in an interview with Izvestia newspaper to be published on Wednesday.

We (all mankind) are now on a very dangerous road indeed. One reading this would think that those “mean ol Russkies” are planning to annhilate us in a nuclear holocaust.
However it must be pointed out that the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld team started this.
In 2005 their criminally inept administration overturned a 24 year old policy that called for “no first use of nukes” in their 2005 “Nuclear Posture Review” that actually advocated allowing field commanders to ask for authority to use nukes. The new policy (outlined by Bonkers Bolton) would actually advocate the first use of nuclear weapons…the study advocated the possible first use against Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and others it deemed not that friendly to Washington’s imperial interests. It was the US government under Bush that changed policy to advocate this madness…now we get upset that Russia might feel threatened enough to change its policy. Well what do you know???
And, China is certainly not lying down waiting for the US to threaten them…they’re arming like there’s no tomorrow. How about all those weapons they just trotted out for last weeks parade.
The US with NATO is actively working to surround Russia and China by gaining control of Central Asia. Of course this policy is playing with fire…nuclear fire.
In this mad rush to gain control of the World’s energy resources it just might be the US that loses. While China arms to the teeth with its vast dollar holdings and enormous industrial might and while Russia has oil and gas to sell it is the US that stands at the threshold of bankrupty if we are not already there. This may very well be a race we cannot win. Thanks to George Bush’s idiotic change in US defense policy we are now being threatened just as much as we threatened others.
Now, the writer of this article refers to Israel using nuclear weapons against Syria….
Question??? Why in God’s name would Israel attack Syria with nuclear weapons??? Why?????Syria has no nukes. Doesn’t this sound insane?
There is no country in the Middle East that poses any sort of existential threat to Israel.
None! Israel is the only nation in the neighborhood armed to the teeth with nukes. And, it refuses to join the NPT and the IAEA.
The US must give up its imperial ambitions. Countries Eight Trillion Dollars in debt cannot rule the World…maybe not be able to rule themselves for very long.
