Exit of 110 gravity bombs ends 54-year presence. Change happened secretly over years, say scientists.
The US has removed its nuclear weapons from Britain, ending a contentious presence spanning more than half a century, a report will say today. According to the study by the Federation of American Scientists, the last 110 American nuclear weapons on [...]

Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal poses a greater threat to security in the region than Iran’s uranium enrichment, due to the volatile political situation in the country, a Russian expert said on Tuesday.

Russia appears focused on strengthening its nuclear capabilities rather than building up its regular armed forces, which makes maintaining the U.S. nuclear arsenal increasingly important, U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said on Monday.
The Pentagon chief, speaking to Air Force officers in Virginia, said America’s need for nuclear weapons to deter potential enemies from striking [...]

I don’t take Jimmy Carter’s estimate seriously. I have consistently seen estimates of at least 200 nuclear weapons. I wouldn’t be surprised if the actual number is around 300 nuclear weapons.
From the article:
Former President Jimmy Carter caused a stir over the weekend when he claimed that Israel possesses a nuclear arsenal of 150 weapons.
While experts [...]
