Why would Russia want to launch a nuclear preemptive attack on America? Russia has been kind enough to explain why it might attack America – it feels threatened by NATO and the U.S.
Now if one is oblivious to the world, then you would go on encircling Russia while at the same time reducing your nuclear [...]

This should be a clue that we’re dealing with an aggressively hostile nation. Russia is not a country that you want to play nice with. It only understands force.
Upon hearing Russia’s response my first thought was to strengthen our nuclear forces, but that is hopeless given the current administration, and an even worse congress.

Reports are that one-third of our 450 land-based missiles may be eliminated under some plans being considered. Given that our submarine and bomber bases number only four, and submarines at sea also number four, we are essentially making it dramatically easier for an enemy to strike at America’s nuclear forces in a crisis. Remember, today [...]

This is a stunning report about the state of our nuclear forces. The United States is in big trouble as our nuclear forces are literally falling apart due to old age.
From the article:
Today, the United States finds itself in a curious position in international politics. While its conventional military power remains unparalleled, its once-formidable strategic [...]

Over the next 10 to 15 years we will probably see one or more nuclear wars according to the US intelligence community.
I project an excellent chance for nuclear war in the Middle East between Israel and its neighbors during Obama’s term in office. This is based on a chemical missile attack by Syria on Israeli [...]

Russia reduced its total nuclear weapon stockpile by about 1,000 warheads during the last year; however, it still has the largest arsenal in the world. As of early 2008, we estimate that Russia has approximately 5,200 nuclear warheads in its operational stockpile and 8,800 in reserve or awaiting dismantlement, for a total of 14,000 nuclear [...]
