Meanwhile experts believe Iran will be able to produce inter-continental ballistic missiles capable of reaching Europe, and possibly America, by 2015. Some intelligence reports suggest Iran will have obtained the amount of uranium needed for a nuclear weapon much sooner.

China has completed the upgrade of its intermediate range CSS2 ballistic missiles in Tibet from liquid to solid fuel.
Missile experts say the upgrade reduces the logistic train for these missiles and will enable shorter launch times, increasing India’s vulnerability to a pre-emptive strike.

Iran has developed its first intermediate-range solid-fuel ballistic missile.
Israeli intelligence sources said Iran has developed a solid-fuel missile with a range of 2,000 kilometers.
The intelligence sources said Iran acquired solid-fuel technology from China. In 2002, Iran developed the Fateh-110 single-stage solid-propellant, surface-to-surface missile with a range of 200 kilometers.

The Ashoura is a multi-stage, solid-fueled missile that could be very effective for long-range strategic use. The stated range of the Ashura is 1,240 miles.
